Terms of Use

These terms cover the website at calodaily.com and the CaloDaily apps for iPhone and Android. By using CaloDaily you agree to them. CaloDaily is run by an individual developer in the United States, not a company. If you bought Premium through the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Not medical advice

CaloDaily gives general estimates - calorie and protein targets, meal and workout plans, burn figures - to help you build habits. They are not medical advice and do not replace a doctor, dietitian or trainer. Talk to one before changing how you eat or exercise if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or take medication. Stop any exercise that hurts. You must be 13 or older to use CaloDaily.

Your account and your data

You sign in with Google or Apple and are responsible for what happens under your account. What you log is yours: you can download all of it as CSV files at any time and delete your account. Deleting closes it at once, and everything stored with it is erased 14 days later unless you change your mind before then. How it is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Free and Premium

Logging food, water, weight, steps and workouts, the food database, barcode scanning, a week of meal and workout planning, the shopping list and exporting your data are free. Premium adds features such as backfilling any day, longer progress history, planning ahead, swapping a planned meal, moving a workout to another day, vitamins and minerals and reports. What is in each can change over time; anything you have already logged stays yours either way.

• Premium is an auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play, monthly or yearly, at the price shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account.
• It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Cancel or change plans at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; Premium stays on until the end of the period already paid for.
• Where a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before then. Any unused part of a trial ends when you subscribe.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. CaloDaily cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly.
• Accounts created before subscriptions began keep Premium for free, for as long as CaloDaily offers it.

Using it fairly

Don’t misuse CaloDaily: no attempts to break or overload it, to reach other people’s data, or to scrape it in bulk. Accounts that do may be suspended.

Changes and availability

CaloDaily is offered as it is and may change, pause or stop. Food and nutrition figures come from public sources such as USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts and may contain mistakes. If these terms change in a way that matters, the new version is posted here with a new date and the change is announced in the app. If CaloDaily ever closes, Premium subscribers will be told in advance and renewals stopped.

Responsibility

To the extent the law allows, CaloDaily is provided without warranties, and its developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
